In this tutorial, I have explained how to test step down transformer using the digital multimeter. This is not an accurate method of transformer testing, but with this method you can identify the high voltage and low voltage winding (Primary & Secondary) of the transformer. Also check the isolation and winging by measuring the resistance and continuity test.
